Specifications and Performance
Structure
- 1-1/4" diameter 304 stainless steel piping, combined with a 22.9 cm diameter stainless steel base, provides exceptional durability and performance.
- Quality Control
- Fully assembled before leaving the factory and subjected to comprehensive hydrostatic testing to ensure proper operation and leak-free performance.
- Valve
- 316 stainless steel ball valve ensures excellent corrosion and abrasion resistance. The eyewash valve is opened by gently pressing the stainless steel flag-style push plate, while the shower valve is activated by pulling the stainless steel triangular pull rod.
- Temperature Control
- Self-regulating heating cable is externally applied to the pipeline for heat trace and freeze protection. A 25mm thick insulation layer and green UV-resistant plastic casing further enhance freeze protection, maintaining operational integrity down to -34.4°C.
- Shower Head
- Fitted with a patented AXION® MSR ABS plastic shower head that offers uniform water flow distribution.
- Eyewash/Face Wash Head
- Equipped with a patented AXION® MSR ABS plastic eyewash/face wash head, designed with an "inside-out" flushing mechanism to remove contaminants from the eyes and nasal passages, helping to minimize secondary injury.

Application
In environments where personnel may come into contact with hazardous or corrosive substances, it is necessary to provide suitable emergency eyewash/face wash and shower equipment. Emergency eyewash/facial and shower stations should be installed in accessible locations so that affected individuals can reach them within 10 seconds.
The 8520 Electric Heat Traced Emergency Shower and Eyewash/Face Wash Station is suitable for areas where temperatures may drop as low as -34.4°C and complies with ANSI Z358.1 standards for emergency eyewash and shower equipment.
