Patented Fusion Technology*
Metaglas windows are produced by melting borosilicate glass into a precision‑formed metal ring. As the glass cools and solidifies, it prevents the metal ring from contracting to its theoretical size at ambient temperature. This results in a uniform, mechanically prestressed glass‑to‑metal seal that offers excellent optical clarity while greatly enhancing physical strength. Crucially for hygienic service, the fusion produces an uninterrupted, flush surface with zero void space between the glass and the metal.
