Inertization Process

1️⃣ Cycle 1

• Close V1, open V2 until pressure reaches approx. –800 mbarg (= 200 mbar abs).

• Then close V2, open V1, and fill the missing volume with nitrogen.

• Dilution ratio: 1:5 → Residual oxygen: ~4%

2️⃣ Cycle 2

• Repeat the same process.

• Dilution ratio: 1:5 → Residual oxygen: ~0.8%

After the inertization process, the system automatically switches to blanketing mode.

• When pressure falls below 15 mbarg, the pressure reducer feeds nitrogen into the tank.

• When pressure exceeds 40 mbarg, the safety valve releases the excess gas.
